Heather Contreras, Ed.D has been named the next educational leader for El Capitan School.  Dr. Contreras received her doctorate in education leadership from CSU Stanislaus, and has been heavily involved with coaching teachers in both San Joaquin and Stanisluas County Offices of Education.  Dr. Contreras has an impressive background in education, having been the Associate Principal at Harmony Elementary in Delhi, and Assistant Principal at two schools in Turlock. Before taking on the challanges of Administration, Dr. Contreras taught in the primary, intermediate, and junior high school grade levels.
